sgaiii Posted September 17, 2007 Report Share Posted September 17, 2007 My wife's 1999 xc has, of late, begun stalling on accelleration (both hard and gradual). I drove the car today and immediately noticed that the enging tempurature gauge went into the red, although the car was not over heating. I also noticed when this happened that the car would not shift out of second gear. When I drove the car later today everything was ok.Any thoughts?
