I wanna hear what common problems are prone to these , also any cool features? so far I have found that the fuel door isnt locking , the driver seat memory isnt working , and driver fog light connections are intmediate. Im' looking for a set of winter mats in perferably in Tan , but I can live with the Black as well. This ones got the 3rd row seating ....do they make the " smaller " cargo mat for the rear? I got the BLACK/TAN T6 AWD here,fully loaded tried talking to my mom about getting the R Wagon but O well. However I was not happy about the performance of the XC90 at all....my 850 T-5 has 20X more punch. But over-all chill of the SUV was good, for someone like my mom. Problems so far : The "1" button on the driver seat memory doesnt work The gas door doesnt seem to want to lock sometimes The steering wheel wood gains look to be different from the center console Driver front foglight goes out sometimes, but when i hit it comes on What should I be looking or feeling for the tranny on this thing? Mine had meriad of things that went bad with it, tranny, steering rack, shaft, oil pump / oil rings failure.? some crap like that.. Just to name a few... Guest Guest_larry_* Posted October 23, 2007 Report Share Posted October 23, 2007 Good cars but the Tranny is the main culprit thanks to GM. I made sure I bought a 2.5T b/c it has the best tranny. Granted my car has only 208 HP but with a Chip it will hit 247 HP but yours chipped will hit 325 HP but the tranny is the weak link. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You are looking at between 5kish to replace the trans. We've got 2 in the shop right now getting them. One with 36k and one with 50k, I did one a couple weeks ago with 37k. I would not pay more than $3k for any T6 car regardless of condition. The trans WILL go out.It's easier to drop the engine on a 90.I'd start looking for an R.
