7 VII 7 Posted June 10, 2009 Report Share Posted June 10, 2009 If you signed a new lease for the same property, the old lease is no longer valid. You can't be under two different leases for the same property at the same time. Yeah I agree... I found the old lease last night that we signed in Sept 2006 which did state we must keep the lawn clean and the gutters clean... but the new lease which was signed Oct 2008 which had myself and one other original guys on it with the new 3 roommate signing should void and null the original 2006 lease right? even though two of us are still there? We found a section of the new lease that states that that if the old lease is still viable it should be attached to the new lease when it is signed.... but it was not. I just do not want to leave the house (which I am June 24th) and her sue me for something that is not in the lease.
