Serge
Store his Asian porn. HAAHA. True. Music: 60GB DSLR Photos: 80GB Music Videos: 20GB Development work (websites): 16GB The rest of the storage is for movies, TV shows, anything really. I also do an rsync every 5 minutes of my laptop's desktop and my docs folder, so that it's in perfect sync (that way if I ever lose my laptop, I still have all my work on there). turbomoose
well mainly i just don't have 2k to spend unless i am selling the car. make sense? in 3 months when i'm living in eugene i'm gonna want money not a car at my house. so i'm either gonna sell the t5 and save all the money or get into something cheap i can afford to mess up and learn to fix. and, i really want a manual. really, really bad This doesn't make sense to me. But then, I'm not 17. You messed this car up, and you can learn to fix it. You're just being a little betch. Sell the rims, sell your butt to Grant, and you can fix your car.

turbomoose
Seriously man, if I'm not afraid of doing this kinda work, you shouldn't be. If Adam did it twice, you can do it. Just get off your butt and start looking for some help! You've got to start being a man and get past the mealy-mouth little girl excuses of oh I don't have the experience, I don't have the tools, I don't blah blah blah. And if your parents want the car out, find a place to put it. You've got this car here and now. It's paid off, it's a great car. You F'in ruined it. You should fix it. If you think you're going to be able to sell it, and find something else out there nicer, or be able to save any of the money you get from this car, think again. You won't find another turbo Volvo for what you're going to get for your S70 in the condition it's in now. Not even that sludgebarge of a turbo diesel Volvo, which happens to have a VW engine in it. And your car isn't even for sale yet, and the thought of that money is burning a hole in your pocket. You're going to end up with no car and no money if you sell it. Then we'll be hearing about oh I found this Volvo on CL, oh, I'm looking at this car next.... Just like that C70 guy. Oh it's a good thing I can't have kids. I'd never be able to take this kinda BS.

I'd never be able to take this kinda BS. i understand where you're coming from. if i was in a normal situation it would be simpler but the fact i am moving out and a bunch of other factors are making this complicated. most likely i'm not going to get another car, i'm gonna sell this and keep the money. the money for the repair are not the issue, i just know it wasn't a completely solid platform to begin with and dropping my savings to be where i started is just too much. the turbo diesel wasn't a serious option, i just liked the fact it was a manual turbo with red interior. i'm not gonna rush into buying some shitty 240, i'm probably not getting anything at all. this whole ordeal has taken a lot out of me and most likely i'm just going to take whatever money i can get. i know that an old car is going to need work and so i am being hesitant. and i made a thread about my car in for sale to gauge interest but i am probably gonna put it on CL soon. i just don't REALLY need a car right now that bad as badly as i want one. a motor for your car would probably be like a third of the price... it's a graduation present from my parents.. but obviously i realize that. i just cannot afford that on top of future repairs, especially when i'm still gonna be driving an automatic. i have been thinking about this a TON. i can see how you guys might think i'm being sloppy about it with all the CL links and shit but i'm putting a lot of thought into it before i do anything. khax
^thanks if you weren't being sarcastic. i have more to say than i can about it really. i realize how much i fucked up and i'm just trying to do what i can to get out of the situation with as few losses as possible. in this situation it's probably going to be not having a car. i did not think i'd get so much shit for wanting to get into another volvo though. i can't really afford to do what needs to be done with mine and buying another would be too risky is basically the conclusion i have come to. it'd just be better having a few g's in the bank next year. khax
hey jerk, dont read your email. don't have a PM from you? anyway, the other issue that isn't that big but it makes it even more expensive.. selling my pegs for a motor would mean i'd be back on the perfos. then i'd need new tires. it just is all adding up to too much. The cheapest thing to do either way is fix this one, the fact that you think you don't have the funds makes buying a new car with new problems even less smart.
