Serge Posted July 30, 2009 Report Share Posted July 30, 2009 Just saw a woman with an X3 at the Chevron drive off with the gas pump still attached. It ripped off, made a huge clunk, she stopped to see what happened. When she realized what happened, she pulled it out and then rushed over to the pump where it came from (you can see the end still hanging), curled it up into a pile and ran off as she looked around. Was going around a curve on the highway when I saw a highway sheriff outside his car with a radar gun pointed in my direction. Speed limit was 55...i was probably going 65-70. As I passed him I saw him put away the gun and get into his car...and I kept waiting for the lights to appear in my rear view mirror...but somehow they never did. Chalking this one up to either, he thought "oh its just a volvo" or the fact that I was kinda in traffic, so he missed me somehow. Needless to say, probably going to take it easy the next couple of days and Im putting my Garmin back in so I can actually see what my speed is.
