It has gotten to the point that I cannot breathe out of my right nostril at all and my left one is almost as bad. 5 broken noses from soccer, elbows and knees has killed my nose. Stating to really affect my sleeping, running and breathing. My sleeping is the worse... apparently you are not suppose to wake up 4 to 6 times a night? you are suppose to sleep straight through? I figured if I am just going to break it again why fix it? Well no more sports for awhile since my tendon snapped so... why not get it done? I had surgery for that reason, not because of broken nose, but my nasal passage was really crooked, I think I got it from my mom, and they basically broke my nose (I think), and then put two HUGE metal splints inside my nose to hold it straight while it healed. After about a few weeks they take the splints out, while you're awake, and then suck out all the blood clots and stuff that's stuck in your nose from the surgery. Oh, and you can't smell, taste, or breathe through your nose, while the whole time it's constantly draining, I had to sleep with pieces of tissue wedged up my nose. It sucked.
