matt b
8 mile run with a 5.30 am start. No better way to start you day than running with 25 other runners.

matt b
Matt, are you starving ALL day when you work out in the morning? When I was doing that I could not stop eating. No, it's the opposite for me. Ate a brownie before I left the house at 5 (figured I could run with that in my stomach) and ate some fruit when I got home around 7. Probably have a normal lunch and a light dinner and go to bed early. I had to make myself eat at 7. I sleep a ton when I keep a regular work out routine though. I can easily be asleep at 9pm and sleep until 6 the next morning.

I got up and did 3 miles this morning and will probably do 8 this evening, right now Im doubling 3 times a week to get mileage up for outdoor track. What is your mile pace? Nice work man... Slow, around 8 minute/mile. I do it to keep a good base for cycling. But I have a weird foot problem where certain distances/terrains will hurt my right foot. I have to do it this early, I got home to get kids to school.
