Most have signs on the tailgate stating that you should stay at least 50 ft back and that they are not responsible for damage caused to other cars. Not sure how that applies to cars BEING passed by the truck, though.

Makes sense not to follow a truck, but like you pointed out, the truck subjected him to his negligence.

Saphire and tonic, extra lime, awesome...

If you like gin Travis, this is one of the best out there.

My father was stuck in London because of the volcano, and picked it up for me at Heathrow.

I've tried pretty much all the premium gins, and this one blows them all out of the water.

That's disgusting. I wonder if the scent of the White Castle will make you shit as fast as actually eating White Castle?

That's what I usually get for martinis.

I like Hendrick's for tonics (English cucumber slice, not lime ;) ).

This is a sipping gin, very smooth and floral, neat or on ice with a bit of grapefruit rind.

saw a couple of cops sanding on the side of one of the roads that leads into our campus. before you get to the segment of the street they were at, you travel over a long viaduct which spans a little valley here in Milwaukee...what i didn't see was one of the cops holding a radar gun. traffic was light and the cop gradually stepped into the street in order to flag down a car he had clocked speeding on the viaduct.

anyone else seen a cop on foot clock someone for speeding and nab them?

used to do it here on 95 til someone wasn't paying attention and hit and killed an officer. Then they changed the laws.

Really? That's funny, I've never seen that anywhere else in Milwaukee before. Kind of embarrassing to get "pulled" over by a cop standing on the side of the road though.

Never personally seen it, but had several people say they or a close family member witnessed/was ticketed. Ya, I know. Heard it from a friend of a friend.

I did get radar'd by a cop on a motorcycle once.

I drive a lot these days. I see plenty of troopers, and they're all fans of 4000lb metal cage they drive.

My mom saw that one time. She said a C30 was zooming around and speeding and got clocked by a radar on the roadside, then further down a cop stepped in the middle of the lane and signaled for the C30 to pull over on the side of the road.

I've seen it multiple times. They have a speed trap set up like that right near where I went to college. They would just hop out in the middle of the lane and signal you to pull over. They did it all the time.

I've seen it once on the highway before on 95 south. No idea who thought of that, but it's obviously a great way to get hurt/killed.
