Basically they stick a needle in your muscle tissue and wiggle it around. This causes the muscle to relax, but it swells up massively immediately after. Right now it feels like I have a golf ball under my skin. I can see my upper back bulging out in the mirror like I'm a hump back. It's absurd. We'll tryouts (ice hockey) was just a scrimage with two teams and the coach blowing the whistle to signal a complete line change on the fly. Anyways the puck ended up being left in my defensive zone (i usually play D) and one of their players got the jump off the bench and was going for a 1 on 1 with the goalie. I went full speed and within the first stride knew i did some damage . I always make sure to stretch well but I've been running and weight training so much recently that even after a good stretch I'm tight still.
