Stormtrooper1
Papa Johns receipt It would have been faster to get the lady's name than to type that description, plus they wouldn't have made Papas fire them.

gilber33
Who's replaced those braided grounds on the block? What gauge wire did you use?

gilber33
4ga for ground wires IMO, I did a write up on home made ground wires a while ago I have some 4 gauge left over from my battery relocation, don't think I have enough though. Do you still have the write up? What else is there to it than wire and ring terminals? Also trying to find some good heat resistant sleeving to put on the power lead from the battery where it goes over the exhaust.
BtownVolvo
Talked with Tony Colman (London Elektricity) and his Sync Manager Matt from Hospital records. Gonna get them licensed at work to play some of their tracks on my station. Still kinda star struck I guess...wonder if I can get a shout out on the Hospital Records Podcast

Solder, chuck says liquid electrical tape to ensure seal but i say meh as long as you get the solder all the way in you're good
Black Betty
4ga for ground wires IMO, I did a write up on home made ground wires a while ago for the braided grounds? Why not just buy new braids from any auto parts store...they're like $1 a 4ga wire there will only increase the internal resistance and capacitance of the wire. gilber33
Solder, chuck says liquid electrical tape to ensure seal but i say meh as long as you get the solder all the way in you're good So crimp it and then get some solder inside the crimp/ring terminal? for the braided grounds? Why not just buy new braids from any auto parts store...they're like $1 a 4ga wire there will only increase the internal resistance and capacitance of the wire. I forgot who it was, but they said they replaced those braided grounds with something a little more heavier and there was a slight noticeable difference.
