caanglin
Anyone know what size hose needs to be used for the vac line on the turbo? aka the line from compressor to mbc and from wastegate to mbc? is it 5mm? Tried to do some searching, didnt really come up with any definitive answers... And where does everyone buy it from? Need to get some so I can route my new tcv over by the intake so its not heating up so much by the turbo where I had my mbc. + I want to run the mbc in parallel with it. I just used to the same as the rest of the vacuum lines. 5mm or 6mm whatever they are. Edited April 21, 2012 by fivex84
Dick Dastardly
It's not really tan, but a light cream or beige right? Normal. My 98 S70 is the same way. It's bizarre isn't it? But it kinda "lightens" up the interior while keeping the dark look. Mine is light grey, not tan or beige. thank god.

wmartinlsmith
thick does not mean good, needs to be supple at the same time.. cause ipd's silicone isnt as nice as stylin's in my opinion.

I'm going to celebrate by trimming dead limbs off some trees in the yard. I wish I could take the wagon to stretch its legs but I can't find the spacers I need to run the Comets. <_<

gilber33
I know anyone here who knows about my catch cans will get a kick out of this. Wanted to make a catch can time line for myself. Here it is. Cheap ebay can, too small, hoses were restrictive. Bye! Bigger can, horrible line routing, ugly looking. New routing, I liked it, but impractical. New smoother routing. Moved outlet to the top because all the blow by was going in and right back out. Added a baffle in the middle of the can and venting to atmosphere. Same set up, painted black, cleaned up. Got rid of second can. Put in an outlet at the top of the can for a second filter. However, now because there's no second can, the blow by is saturating the filters and it's leaking dripping out of the filters. When I had the guy put in the baffle that's in there, he only went down about half of the distance I marked on the can. Going to take out the can and cut a slit along the middle of it to insert a piece of aluminum that I will drill holes in to act as a second baffle. So the blow by will hit the wall in the middle, go down and through a baffle, and then back up to the filters. That should help.
