Anyone ever get rid of the right side muffler and keep just the left muffler on a x70 AWD?

Kinda thinking about just cutting mine off but I don't really want to deal with an obnoxious drone. I know a couple people have punched a hole in the left side muffler for a "dual" setup, but I haven't been able to find anything like what I want to do.

It could be done, but you'd need to get a normal rear bumper and weld the hole shut.

The dual set up looks the best, having only one side doesn't look balanced, but that's just me.

I would straight pipe the right side, so it looks stockish. I plan to weld a dual axle-back setup, but that requires buying mufflers and I don't want do that right now

What I'm really interested in is how the sound would be after chopping the muffler

Just save your money and get a nice dual 3" TBE exhaust made! :)
