YEAH WELL I DON'T LIKE BLUE! SO HA!

... I lied, I actually really like blue.

We need more green Volvos! (NOT) But a funny story anyway...

Some Volvo executives were walking a lot and noticing how many green Volvos were sitting there collecting dust. They asked the local manager why there were so many green Volvos. The manager replied that the green Volvos just weren’t selling very well, so they had excess inventory piling up. The executives suggested a promotion to get rid of the green Volvos and clear up the inventory. The local manager put together a promotion and, sure enough, they started to sell the green Volvos. The production folks noticed this, and promptly started to manufacture more green Volvos to support the growing demand.

No it's not. It's a switched 12V source to the boost control solenoid, and when I reach the desired boost pressure set by the solenoid it turns the pump on. I have the Stage 1 trunk mount CoolingMist kit.

I want an indicator light for when the system has power, i.e. before the boost control solenoid, and then after the solenoid for when the pump is on. All the indicator lights I see have two prongs on the back, I'm assuming a power and ground. I just need to know if these are just wired in parallel with what I want the light for or what.

The wiring for my kit is very simple:

Couldn't you just buy a cheap two wire light, ground to the water kit ground and tap in to a positive off the pump also?

That's all I want. Just to put in a blank switch cover. Is that all it is? Splice the power lead off of the water pump power lead and then ground the light out (it doesn't have to share the same ground as the water pump, does it?) I was just going to ground the water pump out in the trunk.

Well, I don't want to tap the ground at the pump because it will be in the trunk and I'm just going to ground it out back there with a sheet metal screw.

I want

one light before the boost solenoid to tell me the system has power

one light after the boost solenoid to tell me the pump is running

one light for the level sensor in the tank to obviously tell me when it's low

For the two indicator lights for the pump I am assuming I just need to tap the power lead before the boost solenoid and ground out the light and then tap the power lead after the boost solenoid and ground out the light.

Is that all it is?

Is it this elementary:

I feel like it shouldn't even be a discussion.:unsure:
