What an exhausting amount of work for something that would otherwise be so simple. Not complaining, it's just funny how suddenly the simplest task becomes so tiring. Everything becomes a puzzle. How do I get X to Y, without using both my hands and both my feet at the same time? Usually, crawl. Brings an appreciation for how much it must suck to have a leg cast for 4+ months. What modern receiver/amp, and what kind of massive speakers? I don't understand your question, any 7.2 channel HT receiver is still able to play in 2 channel stereo. Sounded great. You might want to defeat any "smart" features to direct sound, so that it does not direct sound to the rear speakers which you don't have when listening/watching digital media.
