mattsk8
A couple of my favorite skate videos are Beers Bowls & Barneys, and Cheese & Crackers. The bowl in the beginning of this trailer is the punisher at Skatopia, I skated it a few times. The video doesn't do it justice, the deep end's like 13' deep w/ 2' of vert and no flat bottom. Cheese & Cracker is just amazing mini ramp skating. Daewon is the man. This is part one, part 2 is on youtube too.

optimus prime
i was talking to a salesman today about a Nissan xterra on the used car lot. during this conversation i asked him a few questions about this car, things like gas mileage which engine it had. if it had ever been in any accidents or had any major repairs. he had no idea about any of it and instead tried to talk more about rav4's. it quickly became apparent he had no real knowledge about the product he was trying to sell. at this point he started to get agitated because i think he could tell i was starting to ask questions just because i knew he couldn't answer them. his reaction was to exclaim "who knows or cares about these kinds of things?" my response was "how are you an effective salesman when you dont know barely anything about the product you're selling" he decided at this point its was the appropriate time to tell me that i was an idiot and that no one could know that much about their products. point of the story, salesmen at the dealership i work at are assholes. rant over. Fudge_Brownie
Because explaining to you that he didn't know the info by memory, but could find you the detailed spec sheet is way too hard.I know you posted a little while back saying some job stuff had fallen apart. Ever thought about selling cars?

gdizzle
Rodney Mullen is awesome.A real pioneer in street skating. One of the best of all timeI remember seeing Rodney skate in the mid 90's and I was totally blown away. He had a segment in a 411 video mag and I kept rewinding it over and over to watch his tricks. Here's a list of tricks he invented. Basically all modern tricks are a derivative of his creations.•Flatground Ollie•Godzilla Rail Flip•540 Shove-it•50-50 Saran Wrap•Helipops (360 Nollie)•Gazelles•No Handed 50-50 Kickflip•Heelflip•Double heelflips•Ollie Impossible•Sidewinders•360 Flip•360 pressure Flip•Casper 360 Flip•50-50 Sidewinders•One footed Ollie•Backside 180 Flip•Ollie Nosebones•Ollie Fingerflip•Airwalks•Frontside Heelflip Shove-its•Switchstance 360 Flips•Helipop Heelflips•Kickflip Underflip•Casper Slides•Half Flip Darkslide•540 double kickflip•Caballerial impossible•Half-cab kickflip underflip•Handstand flips•Rusty slides•Kickflip
Timbo Slice
He's one of the biggest pioneers of the sport next to Tony Alva and Stacey Peralta, yet one of the most underrated athletes of our time. Skateboarding wouldn't be what it is today without those three guys.

Dick Dastardly
Natas was decent But Rodney Mullen is by far more influential and innovative. Greg's list was spot on. I too saw Rodney circa 1987 with the bones brigade tour in Syracuse met him, a very young tony hawk, and lance Mountain. Not only was he amazing on a skateboard, but he did go on to form the largest skateboard company in the early 90s as well.. World Industries. All that and he has asbergers syndrome.. He joined world industries as an investor, Rocco was the founder. Watch The Man Who Souled The World; great documentary (that might make you hate skateboarding, but still awesome). Not discrediting Mullen, he's an awesome skater (understatement), and definitely a pioneer in street skating. But Natas had the wallride, and a few others. He kinda took Mullen's tricks to the next level. Not to mention getting banned from CA Edited December 6, 2013 by mattsk8
