Leo850T5
Yeah, I might just do that. I can get a V8 version for the same price as a V12 with more miles on it. I haven't read any bad reviews about the V12, just that it was way over engineered for its time. Do you know what exactly is wrong with the V12? I may test drive this one soon...http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/car/453966313.htmlIIRC they are very well known for being extremely unreliable and very expensive to fix. HUGE money pit!that's why the old Jag XJS V12 are so cheap tooand that thing is gorgeous man Edited October 24, 2007 by Silver Bullet
Owned
This stupid car has some freakin shallow speaker locations. The speakers I bought won't fit, so now I'm looking at dremeling out some metal in the front doors. The rear doors arent quite as bad, but I'll at least need to dremel some plastic.Do you have any space in front of the speaker to use up with a baffle? You could always space it forward a bit. I did that to my rear doors to keep from having to cut the metal. Some of the plastic got trimmed, but I don't care about that.

I don't mind normal wear and tear items but if my engine seizes I'll be really mad. If I get one of these cars it will be a car I'll probably keep for the rest of my life. My whole family does this thing. My Dad got a 1983 Porsche 911 sc my mom got a Jeep Wrangler (got a new one now because of the lifetime warranty) now I want one of these... Definitely won't be a Daily Driver though. Thanks for the advice!Has anyone here ever owned one btw?

PharmD
My uncle had a couple of the V12's. Those things were real pistols when it came to reliability...
