That's the worst kind of pain. I've had a broken foot, femur, spiral fracture in my tibia, rolled my ankle a couple times, and tore my PCL and the teeth was the worst.

Yeah it is. 7 broken noses, 2 wrists..plus multiple spraines. 2 broken feet, multiple broken ribs and fingers, 3 concussions, cracked kneecap (this rivals tooth pain by the way), tailbone (takes forever to "heal") and one titanium hip later.. I still think exposed tooth nerves are the worst..

I actually ran face first into a wall when I was 17...but that's a story for another time.

No, no, there is no better time than now to validate what level of stupidity causes one to RUN face first into a wall.

Let's hear the story. :P

Yeah unfortunately the single most painful moment is also the one I'll never forget, dentist drilled too far when I was 16-17, I remember the pain, the knee jerk reaction/spasm and waking up in the chair with the gas mask around my forehead and the suction thing in my lap with the dentist and 2 techs shaking my arms/hands. Did catch the dentist with a straight left in my pain induced fit though

Yes.

I used to work at a waterpark in PA as a lifeguard supervisor. Being a supervisor we held higher training licenses in order to respond to any emergencies. Someone ended up going into cardiac arrest in my zone, my co-supervisor stayed on scene while I ran down the path to the EMT station. I had to pass through a fence with a door in one section of it, and I was apparently more concerned on the situation that I misjudged it and picked the wrong section of the fence (aka where there was no door) and hit face first.

I ended up fracturing 5 teeth, broke part of my mandible, broke my nose, and ended up with a Grade III concussion. What's shitty is that there was still a patron experiencing cardiac arrest and now I was laying on the ground unconscious for a period of about 10 minutes. That hit in the top 5 worst days of my life.

Edit: Thanks for moving it Mike

Done the tailbone as well; wiped out on a 10' tall concrete transition and went right to my tailbone. That makes all the simple things in life a real challenge, not a good time. Also fractured a rib once at about 17 years old, running full sprint at night into the thing that sticks out of a dumpster for the truck to grab on when it dumps it, not a good feeling. That also makes the simple things in life a challenge.

How much are we going hate that we were skaters when we're about 60? I can already feel the arthritis. Guessing you were a boxer too?

Nope. Skater, Hockey, BMX, occasional dirt bikes...

Hip and 1 concussion was from being a bike messenger for a number of years

"...and a clutch with less feeling in it than Lindsay Lohan's nostrils."

The no feeling wasn't so bad minus the $200 hit to the wallet and waiting 2 weeks for a new MC from Deutchland, the pedal eventually locking up a few weeks later and the P/S pump happening to go at the same time was definitely painful
