turbomoose
i believe the fogs is with the lines facing downand the rear fog is with the lines going out str8and the rear fog should only turn on when the keys are in and u have ignition onWow, that's exactly what I said a few posts up.Khax, I don't know why your fogs are not turning on. Is the bulb good?? Are you getting +12v at the fog light?so if both are flipped on, the car is on and i look up front, shouldn't the fogs be on..? You dont need the rear fogs on. But yes. khax
yeah, i know the rear ones don't need to be on but i figured i might as well flip them on to make sure i had the right switch. and there are no bulbs in those little plastic things.and i don't know why it's happening, i wanted to know so i asked and all i got was sarcastic remarks. turbomoose
Oh, and I have a siamese colored gerbil who's dying right now.His litter mate is going nuts shelling sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds trying to feed him. It's so sad having to watch them die.Odd, he's only a year old. All of my other gerbils have lived 4+ years. His litter mate probably wont live much longer since they should be kept in pairs. They get lonely, stop eating, stop playing and just give up.yeah, i know the rear ones don't need to be on but i figured i might as well flip them on to make sure i had the right switch. and there are no bulbs in those little plastic things.and i don't know why it's happening, i wanted to know so i asked and all i got was sarcastic remarks.OMGYou need a bulb to make light!I think it's a 55w H1 bulb.go buy two at walmart and report back

khax
oh, noob question. so my car has what looks like fogs but all they are really are the plastic housings for them. is the deal that these cars came with the fogs minus the bulbs or what? i don't really get it since i have the switch and a place where the fogs are supposed to be but no fogs.seriously, i just wanted to know if it was my car or all of them. this whole question could have been solved in one post.obviously you need a bulb to make light, i just wnated to know if my car was the only one that didn't ahve the bulbs or if that's how they came for some crazy reaosn unknown to me. --Aaron--
I would assume when they add fog lights to a brand new car they put the bulbs in. :arob:
turbomoose
I can't believe any of this....WHY would you expect a fog light to work without a bulb in there?! And WHY would a car manufacturer NOT put bulbs in there?! And WHY am I still posting?! :idiot:

khax
holy stuff. obviously i didn't expect them to work without bulbs. obviously it doesn't make sense to not put bulbs in. but why the hell would my car not have bulbs? i asked a simple question, i've never looked at another volvo's fog light housings and i've seen a ton of discussion on here about fog lights and relays and all kinds of stuff i don't understand so i figured i might as well ask.
