matt b
'possums are almost everywhere. Ran over one here last week. They are almost blind and will bite anything to protect themselves. My Dane used to catch them and kill them in FL, but she took a few bites on the nose.Found this, it shows their range:

matt b
ah ok... I usually go with 50/50 Autozone stuff for years years yearsbut want to put quality in the new R... it looks dark/blue color right now so not sureIt's the new dye that Volvo uses, most likely. The wagon has that since it got the most recent coolant of my 2 cars. I was told the only difference was the dye and I have mixed both (you never get all the coolant out of a car) without any issues.A bottle runs about $22 retail, but you have to cut it with water. So really, I think you essentially pay what you would pay for generic stuff that's pre-mixed.Run OEM on that R Dave, it's so rare. :D

Aequitas_Veritas
You can put either orange or green in, but you dont ever want to mix them. My dad did that on accident and it becomes an acid and eats away the inside of the engine. He had to do an engine replacement on it for that mistake (btw this was on a ford ranger, not volvo)
7 VII 7
to flush I just run the car and flow water through the reservoir (with garden hose) till it comes out clear out of the drain cock with the engine idling and the heat on highthen I fill up with the new coolant

You should also run it with the heater on full blast, cause you need to get the thermostat open to get it all
