Switched to a new accounting firm (the one that handles the books for my business) and all of the sudden we go from owing to being owed a lot. But not complaining, it'll help pay off some debt. I dont know if I want anyone to do my brake lines...I keep hearing/reading horror stories about the hard lines getting damaged. I dont want my car to get stuck at johns house. Get Some Posted April 10, 2009 Report Share Posted April 10, 2009 i was bout 10 mins from my house in my car driving to do a few things.. all of a sudden smoke pours out from around my stereo and then starts from the vents .. i put all the windows down and coast into the parkin lot for honey farms.. turn the car off and get out .. the smoke stops so i go back inside to peak around and pulled my stereo out .. 2 wires were completly fried and melted together all the way from the stereo down into my center console around the shifter ... kinda a oh yeah! but i later found the wire was cut under my foot well and prob fell and hung under the gas pedal and snipped it ... now i have some wires to replace and a car that smells like smoke.. any ideas how to get smoke smell out ?
