Difference In Wagon/sedan Rear Speakers

So I'm working on upgrading my sound system, I already replaced the front doors with Infinity References and plan on buy tweeters for the dash. For the rear though, I know that most recommend disconnecting the rear door speakers and upgrading the rear deck. Would this be worth it in the wagon since the speakers are much further back? And would something like this fit in the rear wagon speakers?

Thanks

You don't need more tweets on the dash, there are tweets on the Refs. You will mess with the impedance by doing that, also.

For a wagon I would disconnect the rear pillar speakers and upgrade the doors with another set of Refs or something similar. If you can find something without tweets, that would be best.

Thanks, I'll do that. Should I disconnect the dash tweeters as well, or no?

Thanks again.

If you have the Refs in the front doors you shouldn't have the stock dash tweets connected.

The factory speakers are wired in parallel and are 8 ohm. Refs are 4 ohm. If you put another set of Refs in the dash you'd be running the HU at 2 ohms which would be pushing it too hard. It would work, but it's not good for the HU (excess heat/shortened life) and it's just incorrect.
