MavericK41 Posted September 30, 2007 Report Share Posted September 30, 2007 I decided to try and install my ipod adapter today but i'm having trouble with the yellow wire thats supposed to be the power source. I ordered a tap connector but im not sure of exactly how im supposed to use it. Do i put the wire coming from the blitzsafe box halfway threw the connector then close the rest of the connector over a part of the wire going into the HU i beleive its slot 4? the black and red one. any tips would be appreciated. MavericK41 Posted October 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 3, 2007 thanks to those that helped me out with the install. i finally decided to install the ipod adapter after work last night. everything went good and i even got a bonus. The reason i got the ipod adapter was because my 3cd in dash changer stopped responding completely. well after i installed and checked that the ipod connector was working i decided to humor myself and see if the 3cd changer would magically start working and it did! lol it had been about 8 months since i had heard cd quality sound out of my car speakers and i was pleasantly surprised with the sound.
