USMC850T Posted October 1, 2007 Report Share Posted October 1, 2007 Went autocrossing for the first time on sunday in the finger lakes region. 167 cars showed up so we only got 4 runs. I'm almost positive I took second in my class by a few seconds. I was a touch less than 2 seconds behind an acura tsx type S on R compounds driven by and instructor, and I have 620 treadware beat ass all seasons. All I can say is that I never thought the volvo would be anywhere near as much fun to thrash around a parking lot!maaad bodyrollformula car progress2 JFZ dual piston calipers with hawk blue pads, dual wilwood masters, 8" rotors soon to be slotted and dimpled, SS lines and a dual piston jfz caliper in the rear - all for a 500 pound car.my sorry ass attempt at modifying the pedal bracket for dual master cylinders + adding a spring and stop to the throttle.Not too much left right now, just radiators, bleeding the brakes, installing the seat and some shakedown time.
