BlackBeast
Thanks for your comments guys, much appreciated. As has been said on t5d5, the ecu will be sent for analysis, will have to wait and see what it comes up with. If it is a standard map for a standard 16T, then 1.4bar boost and a modified 16T should produce enough heat to, well, melt a piston lol.
wmartinlsmith
Cause hijacking is the new pegs. And no. This is why I advocate EGTs over A/F. 1. Its way easier to keep an eye on EGTs while driving.2. Even if you have 11:1 super fat A/F you can still have elevated EGTs.yes. yes it is... :)
chaze1385
I wish i had a stock piston and rod to send to Diamond. See what they would do a custom set of pistons for. SInce i have dealt with them in the past on custom work i am pretty sure i could get them to do it. None of the custom pistons they have done for me have been over $80 each. ANd they do not care about the quantity. IF you want one or 100. Anyone have a stock turbo piston and rod laying around they wouldnt mind donating to me? Preferably one that is not totally destroyed. Needs to at least resemble a piston and rod.Send me a pm if you have one. OR hell just mail it. Cant imagine it costing more than a few dollars shipping.
