prasamin
seriously guys, forged pistons aren't that hard....especially when they are looking right at a stock one and duplicating it. I'd go with Diamond. Heck, I even called them to order when R-Sport was taking 4 months with the Wiseco's I got.
laird
If the boomer doesn't come through, I will send you a rod and piston.

I'm making more power (and I still haven't blown my diff ) then you and I will when we're both built? At least I know I need rods

Zulu
Ok...Either way, forged pistons are simple to handle...most companies will do them one-off for the $80 range.
joergv70t5
Hi.Which Material do they use? What is the Piston to wall clearance? Cheap Pistons will do more wear to the bore. You do not want to overhaul the engine every 30tkm.Regards joerg

shope
Some guy at a tuner shop told me that you can bore out a B23f block and put M3 pistons in there. Has anyone else heard of doing this? What would the power be like with a tubo?

Auburn T5
lol what?I think he means boring the block to use BMW M3 pistons... why... that would be so much work for little to no benefit. I'm sure bmw makes good stuff but if you can just drop in a set of forged pistons MADE for the volvo block for $500, why go through all the extra work? Walls aren't too happy when you take material away.
