cicatriz Posted October 5, 2007 Report Share Posted October 5, 2007 matt have u not been asked about ur rear plate by the popocops here dont give a shit. my buddy is running euro rear plate on his 330 and he got asked about it when he got pulled for speeding. told the cop he broke the bracket after a car show and thats the reason for the plate and the cop just asked him what country the plate was from. let him go without a ticket or even a warning for it. paulr Posted October 5, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2007 Euro plates really are the sexy on our cars...Has anyone ever thought about getting a Euro plate with the same letters as their regular one? or would that be just as illegal while giving up some of the cool factor? I know Matt's regular plate you can barely see during the day (if you know where to look you can see it) and at night NFW.and re: cops being dicks / vs not caring - it totally depends on the cop and the day, and how lucky you are. I've had a LOT of close calls myself (all for moving violation stuff) but I've also been screwed pretty bad once.
