General Disarray Posted October 9, 2007 Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 I've been thinking about what else to do this summer to my car, I already have a manual going in this summer and am considering doing some other stuff too. The rear main seal is getting done while the motor is out so I'll be even closer to stage 0. I'm thinking about spending $3500 max. I could get my head ported and polished and built up, quoted around $800. Rebuild the tranny since it has 118000 on it and why not since I plan on putting in a quafe diff, and just do a regular IPD ecu upgrade, and get a EST cat-back if it goes on sale again this winter. I'm thinking about doing the IPD stage III later on down the road, if it's worth it. Does anyone know or have any input on a better way to go with the money. I know there has been a big debate on the GLT cams, but if i have them and a bigger TB should I put those on? I would also buy some tubing and hoses for larger intercooler piping if I added a bigger TB. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So now I'm thinking about doing the head still, everything to the trans, a reliable npos MBC this time, and a full exhaust. Will the cams and TB do any good, or should I just sell them to another NA guy. This should keep me happy until I can afford to go on an all out build right?
