JVC
Stage 0 FTW, then look into how much money you have and search around, seems common to get some lowering springs to get a bit different stance and then get some other suspension and steering upgrades before motor mods... Finish
after you make sure it's in good working order, maybe get some silicone vac. lines and get a boost gauge. then get a manual boost controller. it costs less than 50 bucks and is tons of fun for the price. it is relatively safe to do as long as you keep it below 14 psi. 1st gear get much more fun!o wait...no mbc for you.what year is your car? Keaton85
Do your research, just keep reading everything you can on these cars. Once you do your research you will know what you want to get and how to go about things. Stage-0 is something to keep in mind but a even better thing to do is to understand your car and not just through the stage-0 parts on. You will gain more be knowing if you need the parts then just replacing them.

ozzimark
Stage 0 (boost controller <snip>not entirely sure if i could consider that part of stage 0. the whole idea of stage 0 is to get the car back in it's ideal stock operating condition best you can. a bc is definitely not stock
fightinchunk
Everyone forgot to mention Stage -1. Stage -1 is learning how to use the search button.lol terrible...i say it depends on what you car really needs. I agree with the basic rundown, but i feel like my car needs to be cosmetically sound before i go onto suspension/wheels/tires, brakes, and power in that order. So electric silver paint job with myswedishparts.com aero kit for me first...
Zulu
Get a nice suspension and wheels...Save the rest of the money to build your engine, tune it & have a proper turbo on it...instead of all these stupid bolt-ons and flashes. Waste of money when someone makes more power then you for half the money...
PharmD
When you get to the point of doing performance upgrades for increasing HP/TQ, you need to consider your final goals for these. In other words, how fast do you want to go? Once you figure that out, we can guide you from there.
