SkyWriter
not that i have anything against BOV's (and I do) but doesn't that look like a pencil sharpener?
JHEIII874T5M
I've wanted to get one for myself for a while. Heck, I'm actually a dealer for Synapse. Once I get the new engine in the S70, I'm putting a Synapse Synchronic BOV on to see how it works. The people I know that have them have said it really works great. Here's a link to what it is: http://www.synapseengineering.com/products...chronicbov.htmlIf you want to try it out... I can get you a Synapse Synchronic BOV for 10% off. Retail is $219, your price would be $197 + $10 shipping.

Patrickw
interesting, i just got 1 from a company called APS, im not sure if youve heard of them or not but their valves are mainly used on STI's and EVO's. The place in york pa that i got it from does mostly those cars so yea..but mine will recirculate to a point unless the valve opens enough then it will vent to atmosphere, they called it a hybrid valve. So theres no CEL and you still get the nice sound, also mine has no diaphram, its a piston

Owned
I saw these on Youtube earlier in the year. They open much faster than SSQVs and well before something like an RFL. They also sound good unlike most valves.

Volvoteen
Oh yea man. I've heard a lot of good things about those actually. The piston type BOV's have the potential to be A LOT better than valve type. It may look a bit like a pencil sharpener but who the hell cares?! Id buy it!
