Covered the start of the bullrun on behalf of gtspirit.com and saw alex roy, mario andretti, christian haydensen, maher(his codriver for this run) and many others on that rainy times square morning. If you get the DVD, u can actually see my goofy asian jerk sittin there taking pictures with my PAID FOR IN FULL nikon d40! Also have alex roy's memoir The Driver signed by him. He shot me an email saying he was going to be back in nyc/jersey city area on the 14th of november if anyone else wants to come. I think he's doing some promotional thing in north jersey.if people are really interested in these types of trans continental/trans world rallies, join gtspirit.comand if people are interested in doing one, there are two fairly cheap entry fee ones coming up. Ultimate rally and Blue label rally. the ultimate rally one is set up by that chubby german guy(kimble) that usually runs a crazy merc. the other one, which i personally think is alot more entertaining is the blue label which starts at pall mall, london and goes all the way down to nadal, morrorco and then ending in casablanca. It's like a 2k entry fee, which is byfar the cheapest entry fee and there are alot more reasonable cars running this rally. american trans am's and camaro's, STI's, EVO's, R's, 330ci's and M3 etc etc.all the info you guys need to know is at gtspirit.com and if some of yall are interested, u can pm me and i can forward u to the number of the guy that kinda heads up the eastern chapter, they've been meeting recently somewhere in virginia or SC but he'll be able to help you get started.
