If you want intake upgrade, get EST with heatshield.Best mod beside MBCMany has passed inspection with same setup including CA. Oregon only have diagnostic hookup for DEQ without any tail sniffer Agreed, a short ram intake will end up sucking in all the engine bay heat and probably decrease performance. Unlike an NA motor which gives a throaty growl to the motor, on a turbo you'll notice an interesting whoosh and hiss as the turbo spools and CBV releases, but other than that it's a waste of money and effort...I'd rather have the BOV, if you like the turbo sound.
