General Disarray Posted May 26, 2008 Report Share Posted May 26, 2008 I was out driving then the car started making a metallic ringing under the hood. My downpipe was still on hand tight so I thought the flange loosened up. It's dark so all we had was the cell phone light and the ringing was coming from the belt area so we thought it was the tensioner. I'm glad I looked at the car this morning before going to FCP, because the metal plate in beside the power steering pump and above the alternator snapped in half right above the alternator so it's a $2 Upullit price and not a $120 fix. Today I finally have a tow hook cover, the vents for the bumper since mine are cracked, and the thing that holds the OBD port and the lighter. The Nissan got stuck in third last night after doing a hellacious burnout, I wish I had a good camera because the smoke pouring out of the cracks of the rear bumper and tail lights looked amazing with the tail lights on.
