kalvin
Got it done??? I'm really interested in your initial impressions. Needs more low.
matt b
Needs more low. This. If you saw the IG pic and my comment: the front has plenty of room to come down at least another 2 inches. The rear: nope.... I wasn't interested in just getting low, but I was surprise it couldn't do more out of the box. Drove it to Cincinnati and back, unfortunately without an alignment. But already, the car handles better, the suspension doesn't overthink things. It goes over a bump and doesn't try to compensate, adjust, regulate, etc... So smooth ride, very balanced and even around corners. I'll take the time to corner weigh it at the shop next week when it's slow and really dial it in. Well worth the money, I wish I had done it sooner.
Ol' Dirty Noodle
Matt you get V1 or V2s? Either way you'll love em second favorite mod to the car
Timbo Slice
V2s. I'm pretty sure V1s aren't available for the P2s.
matt b
V2s. I'm pretty sure V1s aren't available for the P2s. Both are available but I bought V2's since I wanted to have the rebound adjustments. (currently set at 1/2) Bought them from TH Motorsports. Instructions were in proper english with actual Volvo parts shown in the pictures.

BlackT5
On Friday the 13th, I bought a cheap 98 V70R for parts so I could have a hood, headlight etc.. to fix my laser. The car was not well taken care of, but suprisingly the motor had compression of 187-185-184-183-184. I stripped all the parts with any value, pulled the motor/trans, wheels etc.. and sent it to the crusher last wednesday. Then in some weird twist of fate, I came to own the 96 855 T5M I had back in Jan/Feb. Was delivered last Friday with the head half removed because of potential head gasket issue. I pulled the head yesterday and confirmed gasket failure. Not confident that slapping a gasket in would be sufficient, I decided it's either getting a different motor or full part out. Either way, the engine had to be removed. This car has IPD sway, IPD cat-back exh, IPD T5M ECU, lower chassis brace and new Bilstein HDs all around. Kind of a shame to strip it, but I wouldn't mind putting the sways and chassis brace on my S70. Still undecided at this point.

BlackT5
I sold the 98 motor the day before I got the call about the 855. I do have an 04 V70r motor, but i'm not sure i wanna go through an RN swap.

I'll def call you next time! Wasn't even thinking...too excited to be taking out the yellow! Nah, we got there early. We just didn't feel like parking down at the bottom because we wanted to get out of there quick if it started raining.
