Black Betty
Totaled? If not, good luck with the getting rid of the deer shit smell. Not sure yet. The air bags didn't deploy, but the air bag light did come on . I'd put the car's value at $9K, and in MD the damage needs to get to 75% of the value for a total loss. None of the windows were opened so I don't think the deer shit will be too big of an issue.
Kevin.
Oh it was scary. Happened Saturday night around 2am on the freeway, so couldn't see anything occurring. Idiot light is what triggered me to shut the car off and pull over. Had it towed home. extremely lucky you didn't toast a bearing or your crank, ask me how I know

Piston Slapper
The air bags didn't deploy, but the air bag light did come on Seatbelt tensioners? They're part of the same system and generally have a lower activation threshold.

sjmcarz
Driving my wife's 48,000 mile 01 XC around today, was getting a worsening miss, I hooked up my code reader and turns out that the #4 coil was bad. I replaced it with an old extra one that I had in my garage, all is well now.

Oreo931
15mm rear spacers. The front and rear wheels finally look even. It's subtle in pics but definitely noticeable in person. Before: After:
Timbo Slice
Maybe it's the angle but it looks like you've got some serious positive camber in the back. I think it was Kalvin who told me the front wheels are wider than the rear by 20mm, so to truly have them even, 10mm spacers are whats needed in the back. You running anything up front? kalvin
Yeah that was me. Technically to "truly" have an even track between the front and rear you'd need ~25mm on both sides in the rear. However, the body tapers from front to rear so my rule of thumb is always add an extra 10-15mm to the rear on both sides.

quiksilver
Removed the engine from the Saff R and pressure washed the oil from the engine bay. Time to mount the 18T on the new engine, along with a bunch of seals. Then it's transplant time.
