quiksilver
Car dance party rod-blow. Now I know how the saffron R's old engine died. Got the turbo all buttoned up and starter mounted on the replacement engine.
Zappo
But do you know why it bent the rod in the first place?
quiksilver
Not sure why. Apparently wasn't on boost, going 80km/h in a highway construction zone.
Zappo
Did you notice any knocking? The rod is clearly bent from the photo.
quiksilver
I wasn't driving when it bent and went through the block. The PO (who's on here) was driving when it went, had the windows down at 80km/h so he couldn't hear much. I bought it with the blown engine, never even tried starting it. EDIT: You can't really see it there, but the bottom of the rod is broken in half.

matt b
Change your carpet over Adam. On topic: wash and 2 coats of wax. Parking it for 2 weeks in the garage, wanted it clean until I get back.

Oreo931
Change your carpet over Adam. In the process of doing that. Parts for these cars are getting harder find these days... Picked up two front carpets in charcoal at the JY this weekend. Need to find the rear carpet in charcoal. I was looking for 855/v70 carpeting only, but I think I can make a sedan rear carpet fit if I simply cut a few extra holes. Wish I had known that this weekend.... I also need charcoal door panels, a charcoal dash, and rear tailgate cover and floor panels in charcoal. Nooooooo, you win! What car is that from? Emiel
Not that again... Wrecked it good, drove over it and now its unrepairable (after fixing it 5 times). No more Emilip. Time for a R bumper.
