New alternator, cabin and engine air filter, and faulty door lock actuator replaced with JY unit (door microswitch failed) for the Saffron R.

JY door lock actuator was pulled from a 98 V70 T5 with cloth seats but a factory autodimming rear view mirror; might've pulled that.

Finally charges the battery and engages the alarm.

Factory auto dimming mirror in a non-C70 P80? That's not something I've seen before.

Recently sent my OTE pipe to Snabb to have a BOV flange welded. Installed that, along with the new metal section of intake tube and Snabb intake. Pardon the dirty engine bay.

Mind sharing some details on the set up?
What bov, and hows the couplers routed?

I bought one of the original Snabb FMIC kits way back on the initial group buy, so there was no provision for an external BOV at the time. Since then SNABB has released a kit where this is an option. So I sent my OTE pipe to Kristian and had him weld the flange on. I also purchased a Tial QRJ from him as well as the updated metal insert for the Snabb intake pipe that has the 1" boss for the recirc. hose. The recirc hose was sourced from Snabb too.

I stole this photo from Snabb's website that gives you a clearer picture of the setup.

I still need to source an OTE pipe for my RIP kit on my V70R. Kristian is backed up indefinitely, so I'll have to figure it out.

I just emailed him and he turned me around in about 2 weeks. I know he is a busy guy, but I'm sure he can take care of you.

Wow, that's quick! He told me that he has changed manufacturers, and that it could be cost prohibitive to make the pipe himself. He said that at this time, he doesn't know when they'll be able to get moving on production.

Ohh that sucks. I didn't realize he wasn't making that stuff anymore. Hope you can find someone to do it for you!

Yeah, Josh with 8eight Fab is local to me, so I might hit him up and see if he can get me on the schedule. He told me previously that he'd be able to do it, I would have to bring the car to him though, and I don't know when I'd be able to do that. I have plenty of other cars to drive, but I'd likely install the parts I have and trailer it up to him. Gotta find the time to do that.

That Josh is the real deal - his stuff is gorgeous

I wish he made stuff for P80

For sure. He only does P80 stuff for in-person customers. A buddy of mine had him make a downpipe for his '99 V70R and it's beautiful. He mostly focuses on P2R and P3.
