:D:lol:

yeah my car looks like its gone muddin recently...and in the 4 years ive had it i have not detailed it once in any way, shape, or form.

but on a side note. started it up for the first time since this past saturday. no problems what so over. seems that cleaning out the throttle body works for other peoples start ups :)

also i wanted to wash it but its cloudy overcast and 50 degrees...so i just cleaned off the windshield. :D

:o thats not the way you treat a black car i detail my car all the time, During the summmer i wash it twice a week, during the winter its once a week, and detail it when ever im bored. I've only got 1 proffesional detail they can do the interior much better than me but i got the exterior down pretty well. Yes the 850 is dull that is pre multiple polishes and many waxes. Thats a DD 180k n/a i know your 850 has 150k nathan but this car also survived 2 boys from age 4/7 to 15/18 now. Combine trips to Florida and many trips all over for hockey the car has been amazing but i just love the reflection black gives

i guess it should be noted that i didnt really give a crap about my car till about a year ago...which was about the same time i found VS....hmmmm. before then if it worked, i was fine with it, if it looked like crap i didnt care.

i usually wash it twice a month during the warmer months. in the winter i really cant do much about the look of the car. also i just havent done enough research about waxing and detailing and every time i consider doing it im afraid ill have a ktard moment and screw up something if thats even possible.

today .. busy busy day ! got the projectors in. dyed the front+rear bumpers. painted the wing. hooked up the capacitor to my amp for the alpine sub. replaced the hvac controls with red leds ,foot wells with red leds, and the shifter lights with red leds. tried to the leds in the guage cluster but were the wrong size, more to come along with clear corners ( blacked out) and clear turn signals( for on the fendors). along with red cathodes for the footwells, maybe a vibrant exhuast, also filled the tires with some air.. all in all the cars comin out nifty and cleanz!

well the first pull one of the straps re-adjusted itself and the run was aborted at 2/3 throttle.. the rest were all within reason... if you wanna see the graphs i can snap a picture of them.. or wait to get them e-mailed to me.

oh and the a/f ratio's were good.. not super pig rich.

what are the mods to the new engine?

starting at the intake.... aem filter, stylin hoses, forge (bov, blanking plate, mbc) white injectors, test pipe (cat delete)

I was going to run a N/A throttle, but I'm waiting for an apator, and im also running cleaner oil (a quart of atf topped off with 5-30 to scrub the insides of the new to me motor) and a bottle of marvels in the fuel. LOL, so im gonna hunt down lost boost, start using full synth oil, and possibly put the n/a tb on... also gonna find a different exhaust housing for the terbo.. want a angle flange or flat to get away from the pos conical.. Bill

finally got rid of my stupid headlight covers. no more line of dirt around the headlight :D had to take an ice scraper to it to get the residue off though. goo gone made it not sticky but the res stayed  waste of 5 bucks.
