Converting the strut housings from lame one-piece units [have to pull the strut out to change a ball joint] to two piece, also going from a solid rotor setup to vented. Picked up the strut housings complete with fresh wheel bearings and barely used brake stuff [pads/rotors look fresh] for $20, and snagged some really nice hoses from the junkyard for the brakes too. The ones on there before were absolutely annihilated looking and leaking. Surprised this thing was able to come to a safe stop before.

Lower Shores Performance really makes a nice piece, good guy to deal with too

Hit 8 psi. Now feels faster than stock, which did 10 psi. Most likely isn't actually faster, but the reduced spool time makes things fun

This went in shortly prior to hitting 8 psi. Didn't get a picture after install because it was getting dark out, but rest assured there are zip-ties and it looks pretty ghetto.

I'll turn it up later. :o

Finally installed my boost gauge package from IPD...easy to do, but I'm so not impressed with the quality of the pod, didn't expect to have to make the gauge opening larger in order for the gauge to fit seeing as it comes as a kit together...

Good to see vacuum and boost appear to be rock solid for a 14 year old car. Now I'll feel more comfortable turning the wick up a bit with a new ECU.

The single pods IMO just do not fit very tight out of the box, I have a single from Lotek I purchased early last year and wasn't happy with fitment so tryed IPD's pod and it fit exactly the same, just was X amount of dollars more.

Sold IPD's and will do the same w/ my single soon as I went with a triple.....they fit alot better I think, plus I wanted a Wideband and voltmeter so...

Interesting, I'm going to mention it to IPD because honestly, it's a piece of crap. (I'm sure they've heard that, but I feel the need). I do think I'm going to move to a WB as well down the road, so like you, hopefully the triple's fit better. I'll probably also mold it into the A Pillar so it looks an actual part of the car.

Just as an aside, what do most of you see for you Vacuum numbers? @ Idle I'm seeing 20, which would seem appropriate. The car also holds the rock solid 9psi, and then see's the T5-R's tune kick it up the extra 2psi for 30 seconds...nothing special about the numbers, just excited that it confirms my belief that this car is in as a good a condition as I'd thought.

Think today I'm going to start fixing the front seats and their inability to "recline" anymore...Thanks Bay 13

And oh ya, on Monday I order the Stage II from EST...weeeeeeeeeeee

Fitment is the same.

You are most likely going to have to sand/enlarge at least one of the holes in the triple pod. I had to do it for all three. Its probably just a result of the gauge pod mold. Some have slightly more plastic than others. Nothing a little sandpaper cant fix though.

Cool, come to think of it I think the opening in my single had to be shaved down just a hair....thanks for the reminder, will have to pick up some sandpaper.

The triple does fit pretty snug doesn't it? I remember seeing Justin's and it seemed to....

I went to a body shop once to see about molding a pod onto the pillar but they recommended not doing so because that pillars prone to flexing and movement and didn't think bonding it would last very long....I remember reading about it being done here before, just curious as to how long is lasts...

It should outlast the car if done correctly.

And the fitment of the triple pod is nice, I was just talking specifically about the holes for the gauges. They are no different than the single pod.
