When I insert the key and put it into 2nd position, all dash lights are on, etc like normal. But when I turn it to start, all the lights would dim and there would be no power. After a day of driving, it would start the next day... but if I leave it for 2-3 days this usually happens. Although, if I leave it in the morning outside and then get back to it late at night (in the cold) it would hesitate but still start up. My dad and I know for sure the alternator is in good working order. Him and my mom are out so I haven't had a chance to talk more about it to him but we're thinking it's the battery.Probably is a bad battery though seeing as if I listen to music in the car for about 15-20 minutes, the battery will have no power to start the car...... I guess I'm off now to go charge the battery for tomorrow morning .Say worst comes to worst though and it's not a crappy battery, what could be the problem? Black Betty Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 Say worst comes to worst though and it's not a crappy battery, what could be the problem?aw come on i know for sure you and you're dad know this, fuses, interior lights left on, interior lights not shutting off (glove box or door lights), or bad grounds that are causing a short.
