caliwagon
Just thought I'd resurrect this thread with something fun I just received. Click the link and download the latest newsletter of the Socal VSA (Volvo Sports America--mostly a P1800 club with a lot of "old timers"). There's some fun photos and comments about the Bozzani show on pages 6 and 7 (read the text--it's a fun commentary on the generation gap).Linky
PsychoBeano
LOL,On November 10, the SoCalchapter of Volvo Clubs of America, led by Dave Barton, again hosted this great annual show. The large turnout ofSwedish iron ranged through 444, 544, 122, 1800, 140,240 and newer machines, including a number of “hotrodded” 740 and newer models. These appeared to be thepassion of younger Volvo fanatics who gathered in clustersto talk Volvo speed equipment, reminding oldsters ofan earlier era when young turks built up American rods. And this one was next to a picture of the "youngsters":terrific variety, beautifully restored, a great crowd enjoying itall, groups of young gearheads talking trash and eyeballing carsalong with older Volvophiles. If you were interested in Volvos ofany era, this was the time and place in which to find them.

Aequitas_Veritas
Page 1 of this thread is hard for me to look at--too many T5M memories.im sure its easier looking at it in its glory days, then sitting out front bashed to hell. I shed a tear when i have to see my car out front after the crash. Looking at old pictures seems much easier.
