Hood if its real. Price of 3k would drop if it was made from a mold would it not?

I was quoted a price in that range for a run of 10 hoods, full graphite. The fiberglass hood with CF overlay is still lighter than a stock hood and a LOT cheaper than a full graphite hood.

No, there's a company that makes CF products that sells them. They are who George is buying his S60 wings and mirrors from.

He's the US distributor for them - they are in Japan.

I have a feeling Mike trying to sell their products in conflict with the agreement George has with them as a US distributor, though I don't know the details and I could be wrong.

The same company tried to make a FS post here before but as they aren't Vendors it was removed.

i thought those pics looked familiar, saw it last week. wondered where the thread had went

would it be too much to ask for a CF boser hood for the S70? :lol:

CF front splitter for R bumper

i'd ask for a CF rear diffuser but since it don't exist i guess ill have to continue on with my own trying to fab a FRP custom job...lame

Yup, this is the company that George has contracted to produce some CF parts for him. I'm sure he'll chime in here shortly.

This might be who you're talking about. I picked up the sp and tb covers last week directly from them. The sp cover has the same raised lettering as the oem and both pieces are pretty rigid and glass like and you get the sense of quality, I haven't really "fit" them yet to fully test their fittment. That's my initial opinion coming from no experience w\cf.

Gemini composites style right? If you could get me one of those with a blue CF weave, I got the cash now. But seriously, if you only need 10 x70 hoods, and they are under a G for fiberglass wrapped with CF I think that GB would go through. I know you'd have at least one sold right here (maybe 2).

would still save 20-30lb over stock, btw. That plus relocation of battery to the trunk and your getting MUCH closer to a 50:50 balance ratio.

...don't yank my chain...ill cry if you are :lol;

i was serious about a booser hood and the front splitter tho...i want a rear diffuser, but i think i came up with a better idea which requires some fabbing to a stock bumper...

There's enough rear diffusers on the market from other models that you could easily get something to work. How good it would look on a Volvo is another matter, though.
