Let tell you a little secret for reimbursement. Enroll a lawyer and seek treament from a chiropractor. Insist you have intermitent neck and back pain ;)

have a treatment 2 times a week if possible for at least three months. The insurance claim adjuster from that dumbass bitch will start calling you for claim settlement.

Anyway, I clearly wasn't at fault, but I know I'm still screwed because this was a '98 red-on-charcoal V70 T5M and I will never find another one. Ever. But then, it's just a car, and I need to learn that.

<--- Yellow T5R :( I can relate to a car that you won't find again. Just keep reminding yourself that it's just a car, it can be replaced, and think of what good can come from this. It's tough to do, but it will make your life easier now if you do that instead of stressing over this. Trust me, I know how hard it is to go through this stuff :(

Glad to hear that you're ok at least!

You're an idiot. Why encourage that kind of dishonesty? That's why it is called an accident, they happen. Unless you are truly to need that kind of care, it's called insurance fraud and is the largest reason why auto insurance rates consistly keep going up.

It doesn't work that in California anymore, most insurance companies are smart to it and will not settle some huge claim just because someone had to go to the chiropractor for a few months. Unless the accident resulted in a permanent disability, at most you can get is medical bills paid and maybe a couple of grand. All of which can be done on your own without having pay a lawyer 30%.

Wow dude, I'm saddened to see the pics and read that. That car was beautiful. I cant even begin to imagine how your feeling. If I see/ hear anything about a similar wagon through our dealerships I will let you know. If it is of interest.

Holy stuff dude...seriously in awe right now. I can't believe it. Seriously like all of Socal has said already...you need any help at all I'll be there, just call.

I was wondering when you were going to read this. I'm gonna be asking folks around town who might have a spot for the car--I have until the monday or tuesday after thanksgiving to find a place to put it (insurance doesn't want to keep paying for it to stay in an impound lot any longer than that, and I already talked them out of towing it down to Carson where their claims adjusters work). Anyway, once I have it and the deal is finished, I'll probably be hosting a socal "tear-down" day. Everyone will be invited--I will provide beer and eats. Stay tuned--you won't want to miss it!

??Wha!? Edwin needs a fender! lol, Im just kidding. Ill talk to the roommates (some people call em 'rents) about letting the car stay in my driveway. Lord knows mine was there for like six months. As long as I get first dibs on parts and/or seats. Do you know how long you'll need to keep it somewhere?
