Oreo931
Some of my fellow forum members from another forum suggest that I get a Boost Gauge. Do I really need one.1st of all this thread is lame <no offense>.2nd of all, yes. If you plan on increasing the boost AT ALL, via MBC, chip, etc then you need a boost gauge first. It is also good because you are able to monitor your vac and boost levels and make sure that you dont have any leaks.

ozzimark
my general opinion is that the more information you have available to you on your car's status, the easier it is to monitor potential problems and performance oddities... which leads to an obvious conclusion on the original question

TBM
To make it easy:PROS: view boost/vac pressure, check for vac leaks, check boost PSI when modding the performanceCONS: None, unless you're me and get unlucky with the install. Supposed to take an hour, but ended up taking a week. The install was very easy, but there were some issues with the gauge I ordered...had to do a lot of testing inside the car, and ended up wiring it differently than advised.
