Im in contact with the local volvo reps that I know from my dealership days so hopefully we can sort the electronics out and make it happen. 94850tx Posted December 16, 2007 Report Share Posted December 16, 2007 The mechanical aspect is not what I'm worried about, it's the electronics and AWD that I'm interested in. I want to keep the AWD and it is of course a 2000 so the electronics are an issue. There is a group of us working on this, I am the only one interested in keeping the AWD. Anyone interested in details contact me off the board and I will give you my thoughts.I am considering driving directly north out of Dallas to meet up with the CO guys. Keep me in the loop on what you guys are doing. Are you guys planning a 2 or 3 day drive out...or are you going to go bonzi and do a one day deal? There's another local that might beable to come with me but he posts mostly on turbo bricks.If y'all get a plan together or want to chat on the phone or PM about it shoot me a PM and we'll get in depth. I honestly would not mind coming out to CO and making a week out of it...I think that would be killer. It would be a good time to go see the family for a few days and then come back to Florida for an internship. Depends on what I have for a job and internship at the time.Maybe some of the other Florida guys will want to caravan up with me. Ill be getting a hotel as well, if someone wants to split the cost of one I can book a double. I think I remember Joe showing some interest in this. Since its really not along the coast, its out in the middle of the woods for most of the ride. I would do whatever is shorter but thats up to you.
