PsychoBeano
Well my friend Art said he's down for sure to bring his compressor and impact wrench. Now its just a matter of me getting out of work.
SteveO
I'd like to be there too. I don't know my schedule yet, probably not until the week before. If I can make it I have A portable compressor and a cheap impact gun, but I know I don't have the socket for the axle. I think I have a electric impact @ work that might be less hassle to bring than the compressor. I'll check this weekend. I also have some old 900 series wheels you can have, same bolt pattern, but no rubber on them . I'll check in with ya again soon.

I'll pass on the 900 rims (only because i need some rubber), but I definitely appreciate the offer.

I don't think average portable compressor is going to produce enough CFMs for the impact gun to make it powerful enough to break the axle nut. To transport an appropriate compressor just to do the axle nut and maybe a few other things, probably isn't realistic.I can bring the socket. I do agree with you on being realistic though.

Either way, anything extra like that is needed, Autozone is less than a mile from his apartment.

Otherwise I drive the extra mile to Napa.
Boomin850
You realy don't need a compressor or impact gun to break the axle nuts loose...just a breaker bar with the end of a jack handle on it. Also, I have the axle nut socket if no one else does
PsychoBeano
The real problem is when the axle is stuck in there and you cant get it out! (like a certain Honda I remember) :P

T-5Bandit
PB Blast the crap out of the axle nut the night before and go get a good electric impact gun from Home Depot. If you want John...when you get the car back, PB blast the nut and I can come over the next day and I'm sure we can break them loose.
