oddferkout Posted December 2, 2007 Report Share Posted December 2, 2007 So... before I give up and take it to the dealer to have it fixed under warranty, I figured I'd try here first.It started a week ago. I noticed that the driver side doors periodically wouldn't be locking with the alarm, when I press the button, etc. Along with that, the window buttons and the turn signal on the side mirror weren't working either. Once I got to wherever I was going at the time, I got out of the car and locked it with the key and it did not arm the alarm.I tried again and it finally did, but once again, only the passenger side locked. I opened the door closed it a little more agressive this time and the driver side doors locked.It's been a week now and it's still doing this problem if I close the door lightly, I have to close it some a little more force to get the circuit to complete and all the electrics will work on the driver side. They are having problems with the door connectors and they need to be replaced with gold plated connectors if the proper recalls have not been performed yet. I'm glad you don't live anywhere near me because you have to remove the front doors to replace the connectors in the body.
