Pops Racer
Don't know much about it, but it looks like Aussie Ford vs. Aussie Chevy. Lime Rock or Watkins Glenn every race? If you need some info try this link:Supercar Info

I haven't seen that show on in forever.Car selection was kind of lame but entertaining none the less.

I haven't seen that show on in forever.Car selection was kind of lame but entertaining none the less.Forever for you must be like a year? The whole show is lame. They had some marathon going on over the weekend of those shows. I watched for 25 minutes straight and saw NO racing at all. The only thing they were doing was interviews with the drivers. I don't care that everyone on the damn crew says the same thing just show the racing!
Account_Deleted_T5M
V8 supercars is the stuff, i'm from new zealand, and that's a huge part of motorsports for us
rynodyno312
What are the engine regulations in that series? Do the Holdens use 6.0/6.2 LSx's? Falcons run the 5.4 DOHC or SOHC? EFI or carb?
B1Gtime
Last weeks episode of Top Gear...they test drove the new Vauxhall VXR8, This thing is a beast. I think it has the 6.0 Liter from the GTO, but I think it's got more power than that 6.0. and does 0-60 in under 5 seconds...kinda reminds me of an EVO 10 a little bit...cause of the side scoop and the over all look of the body. Yes the interviews and bs were pretty lame but I think Speed was going for the real TV approach not another racing series. But thats the beauty of DVR, I don't have to watch all the filler. I can actually fast forward to the racing (all 10 minutes of it).

It is more likely the Vauxhall got the engine from Australia anyway, not second hand from Pontiac.

I want one of those! I saw that Forza show, kinda Survivor on wheels-and just as lame. The blonde won. I was home sick from work and watched Aussies flying around. 600+ hp? couple of nice wrecks too. It does seem to be a fill-in until they interview Jimmy Johnson again.

rynodyno312
Yeah it's basically the G8 with more power (we get a 360hp V8 as the top choice).
Raintracks
I agree - how that VXR8 resembles the EVO X. I've watched all the youtube videos of the VXR8 and goddamn....I want one =)
