TBM
my 99 xc had sidemarkers.... (so it's not just the 00's)I think he made a mistake in the title...the differences were from 98 to 99, and not 99 to 00.What else was new?At least for the S70: AWD, different exterior colors, that's all I can remember for now. MarkNJ
Didn't the electronics switch over? I thought that the '98's were basically pretty 850's but the 99+ were more sophisticated. And also, black vs. blue emblems.

TBM
WRT to the timing belt, the types of tensioners changed half way into '98 (so I don't know if you'd consider it '99)...Hydrolic vs. Mechanical tensioners.

leurven
5sp auto or was that just the Rs? The 2000 Rs also came with stronger internals, 2.4 liter engine, and a limited slip diff in the rear for the AWD. Also had the 19t with 465cc injectors. There has been debate as to whether the engine is mounted a little lower but it has never been proven and I doubt it is the case.
