jdlc
For those who recently bought/installed 15738 Universal O2 sensor, did you notice the actual number stamped on the O2 sensor itself?Mine, which is supposed to be 'the 15738 Universal O2 sensor' has F 00H L00 0576920633 12Vso I'm wondering if this is the correct one.Knowing what a pita it is to remove the o2 sensor, I want to make sure first before I even attempt it.ThanksOrleeC

jdlc
You saying changing the 02 is a PITA Try replacing RMS Hope I don't have to lol. That's why I heed the forum to do my PCV on my V70 (did it as well to my 855) and fortunate to have acquired it with RMS replaced already when tranny was replaced). But the fact is that I'm not sure if the 15738 Universal sensor I have is the right one (having different stamped numbers as in my original post). This is a used unit with low mileage but somehow did not work well with the previous owner. If it's the wrong one, I would not bother to brave the cold to install it only to be disapponted. My 855 is throwing P0137, courtesy of seafoam treatment lol. I have reset it once already, and, another time, it just disappeared by itself. I have done the usual suspect like MAF and pretty much staged 0 on other things like plugs, wires, etc.

Funny though that they have 15738 as front o2 sensor in their e-catalog. I understand from other post that it is usable for both front and back, so I'm all set. I hope it will work and not throw codes. Wish me luck!
