kwells114
Just check the power steering fluid in my 2001 V70, it's low. Manual says ATF. Which ATF. Everything I've read is for the older P1 using Dextron III. What does the P2 use? Thanks for your help.

dmelviØØ7
The manual is wrong. We use the green shit at the dealer.
kwells114
Green stuff?? Can you be more specific? What is in there now is clear to yellow and smells like ATF. ATF from the store smells the same but is red. What gives?
ACES70
I just use normal power steering fluid. Synthetic stuff made by Penzoil. I think its the higher milage formula.

Fisher
Look in your reservoir. If the fluid is reddish, use ATF. If light green or more amber, use CHF-11S. FCPGroton has a good price on it. Personally, I would not pollute the system with anything else.
